Enemy AI is completely dynamic throughout Spec-Ops and many parts of the campaign. Even simple elimination missions can’t be compared to modes like Gears of War 2the horde, Rainbow Six Vegas Terrorism hunt or Halo 3: ODST‘s Firefight because it’s so different and a lot more intense. Special Ops will place you somewhere in the world of Modern Warfare 2 and give you certain objectives which can range from Assault, Wave Defense, Elimination, Stealth, Time and even a few races. There are over 20 missions which are very unique compared to anything you will find in other games. You can play split screen, online with a 2 player limit, or just play alone. Spec-ops is a really fun addition to the game that will allow you and a friend to try and complete different types of missions together.
And speaking of difficulty, I would add that the game was a lot easier on Vet than any other Call of Duty game. Although the campaign was incredible, it was quite short, lasting around 6 to 8 hours depending on the difficulty. To add to that, there are a lot of surprises and twists throughout the game that no one will see coming, making this story an incredible action-packed thriller. There are some scenes throughout the campaign that are truly breathtaking because they are action packed and keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. The detail of the environments and the character models are magnificent. Modern Warfare 2’s graphics are the best I’ve seen so far in a Call of Duty game while keeping it running smoothly with a steady 60fps. Modern Warfare 2 adds a lot more to the campaign than the last Infinity Ward title, including some unique graphics as well as missions that you should definitely experience on your own. Modern Warfare 2 is a direct sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and picks up where Call of Duty 4 left off. I love cinematic scenes, but the level of intensity you get throughout the campaign while still being in first person view is great. Infinity Ward has stayed true to their game development style by once again making sure they never leave the first person view. Modern Warfare 2’s single-player story is absolutely breathtaking.
